Analytics

RunAHomeLab uses Google Analytics 4 and, when configured, PostHog on an opt-in basis only after a visitor chooses Allow analytics in the on-site preference notice. If analytics is declined, those analytics scripts are not loaded.

When enabled, the analytics providers may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser information, referrer, and interaction events. RunAHomeLab also sends coarse interaction events for tools such as the N150 workload checker and home server build planner. PostHog automatic interaction capture excludes the build planner’s controls. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, server credentials, or a detailed hardware profile to either provider.
